Chelsea do not possess many weaknesses once assessing the first-team squad, with Thomas Tuchel able to deliver the Champions League trophy last season without making a single new signing.


Nevertheless, the Blues have showcased a desire to improve during the summer by looking to bring high-quality players to Stamford Bridge as Tuchel chases his first Premier League crown.


Romelu Lukaku and Jules Kounde were linked, with the former signing in order to address one of few deficiencies demonstrated by Chelsea last season.
